Can you clean motorized shades?
Yes. They're cleaned in place with the motor connected and the shade mounted, so nothing needs reprogramming afterward.
Can you clean shades in a high-rise condo?
Yes. Condo units are cleaned like any home, with each shade hand cleaned while mounted. Tell us the building and any access or elevator rules at booking so the crew arrives cleared to work.
Do Roman shades need a different method than solar shades?
Yes. Roman shades are sewn fabric that folds, and solar shades are a coated weave that rolls, so each takes its own approach to keep folds crisp and coatings intact.
Do blackout shades clean the same way as light-filtering shades?
Mostly, with one difference. Blackout cellular and roller shades carry a coated inner layer that blocks light, and that coating must not be scrubbed or soaked. The fabric face is cleaned with a method that leaves the blackout layer intact, so the room stays as dark as before.
Will blind cleaning leave a chemical smell in my home?
No. The products are made for occupied homes and leave no lingering odor or residue on the slats. Rooms are back in use as soon as each one is finished.
