A wool rug and a viscose rug can look similar in a room but require completely different cleaning approaches. Drapery construction, fabric, condition, and installation can also affect the work involved. Photos let us see what we’re working with so the quote we give you is based on your actual items.

No. Quotes are always free with no obligation, whether we price from your photos or come out to look in person.
Because it would be wrong most of the time. Rug pricing depends on fiber, size, and construction, and drapery depends on panel count, pleats, and lining. A calculator can't tell wool from viscose, and getting that wrong is how rugs get damaged. We price what you actually own.
For rugs: how many, rough sizes, and the material if you know it. For drapery: how many panels, lined or unlined, and the fabric if you know it. Photos handle most of this on their own.
Most people don't, and that's exactly why you want a specialist rather than a general cleaner. Send photos and we can usually identify it, then we confirm fiber content in person before any cleaning begins.

Yes. We choose methods based on the textile itself and use products appropriate for occupied homes, so there's no need to clear out while we work.
That’s exactly the work we’re built for. Antique and hand-knotted pieces get a full inspection before anything starts, including dye stability testing and a check on foundation and fringe condition. From there we match the process to the rug, whether that’s gentle hand washing, controlled immersion, or low-moisture treatment for pieces that shouldn’t be saturated. Silk, wool, cotton, and blends all get handled differently, and that judgment is the whole reason to bring a specialist in rather than a general carpet cleaner.
