Is designer linen drapery safe to clean on site?
Yes, once it's tested. Linen shrinks when overwetted, so moisture is held to a level the fiber tolerates and every panel stays on its rod at full length. Hems and pleats come through where the workroom set them.
Do you clean the drapery in a guest casita?
Yes. Casita drapery goes on the same visit as the main house, and those rooms collect more dust because they sit closed between guests. Note the casita when you book so the full scope is planned.
Can embroidered drapery be cleaned without the thread bleeding?
Yes. Embroidery thread is tested separately from the ground fabric, since a dark thread on pale linen or silk can run before the face does. The method is set for the more sensitive of the two, and the stitching stays crisp.
Can Euro-pleat or tailor-pleat drapery be cleaned on the rod?
